It’s been a quiet week, overall. Mostly because I fell ill on Wednesday which meant that there couldn’t be a podcast this Thursday (for the second bloody week, now). However, I did get around to editing and making a few videos with prerecorded files and the like.
I added some more playlists to my YouTube channel to collect all of the “me” stuff there is on YouTube, moreorless, including what’s on my secondary channel, and my appearances on other channels. https://www.youtube.com/user/Absolution913/playlists
Amid those playlists is a new one: an analysis of John Glubb’s essay “Search for Survival” by me and Duncan Scott. The recording is almost completed, all that’s left is editing and uploading, thankfully. A sweet, short, informative little series. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTe0z71vec-_yT6NLRpeOfSY89kHdbR0A
And as usual, another couple of chapters (9 & 10 this week) by myself and Paul Andersen of Julius Evola’s Revolt Against the Modern World. Hopefully in the coming chapters we’ll be a bit more talkative ourselves! It wasn’t supposed to just be reading, but comments and analysis also. (Evola clearly had a way of saying anything that needed to be said himself, I suppose.) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTe0z71vec-9LTVKQqOEglDkFXlgNTnjG
On my second channel, once I was feeling better (by yesterday), myself and Edmund Rosenthal got around to having a little chat about atheism and spirituality. We will probably do more talks on the matter as to flesh it out over time, and also because we are still both young and in the learning process, so we cannot say absolutely everything that can or should be said on the topic in one video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSJc7BuRL1w
And another Google Hangout on my second channel: a relaxed, informal Saturday night discussion with a few guys on all manner of topics (antinatalism, Sargon of Akkad vs. Millennial Woes, paganism vs. Christianity — just to name a few things). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o33frlSsSqA
Also I did manage a bit of scribbling this week; a ramble on West Coast Reactionaries, lamenting the dullness of our age. https://westcoastrxers.com/2016/04/21/the-demon-of-mechanisation/
Lastly, I have made an account on The Right Stuff‘s forum. I doubt it’ll get much use, but it’s another little finger in another little pie (mostly for social/networking purposes). https://forum.therightstuff.biz/user/adam-wallace
I might write something shortly for WCR, or I’ll just spend the remainder of this evening playing Skyrim or something. We’ll see.
